
ABC Chefs Cooking Academy offers hands-on summer cooking camps where kids and teens can unleash their creativity in the kitchen. Each week features a unique theme, from baking delicious pastries to mastering global cuisines. Our fun and interactive environment teaches essential kitchen skills, teamwork, and confidence while making delicious dishes from scratch.
2025 Camp Dates & Descriptions:
Week 1: Taste of Italy (June 9 – June 12)
Campers will dive into the rich flavors of Italy by making handmade pasta, classic sauces, and authentic Italian dishes.
Week 2: Bakeshop Favorites (June 16 – June 19)
Budding bakers will whip up bakery-style treats, from macarons to cinnamon rolls, learning essential baking techniques.
Week 3: MasterChef Jr. (June 23 – June 26)
Campers compete in friendly culinary challenges, crafting recipes from scratch and showcasing thier skills in a fun competition.
Week 4: TikTok Treats (June 30 – July 3)
Inspired by viral food trends, campers will recreate the most popular and exciting dishes from TikTok!
Week 5: Taste Around the World (July 7 – July 10)
Each day, campers explore a new country’s cuisine, making dishes like Mexican tacos, Japanese sushi, and more!
Week 6: Taste of Italy (July 14 – July 17)

Visit the James S. McDonnell Planetarium in Forest Park and see a star show to experience the largest artificial sky in the Western Hemisphere. Star shows are lead LIVE by one of the Planetarium's educators, creating a new and tailored experience for every audience.
Stop in and have some fun in the indoor pool at the Lodge of Des Peres with your little one at this drop-in swim time for kids up to age 6. No pre-registration is needed; Water Waddlers is open to residents and non-residents of Des Peres.
The Saint Louis Science Center has expanded its Preschool Science Series to include new offerings for different age groups of young scientists. Storybook STEM is for ages 3 to 5.
LEGO Club at the St. Louis County Library is a free opportunity for kids to gather and have fun building with LEGO bricks. LEGOs are provided.
