library events for kids

Kids can observe gravity's constant acceleration through bowling ball juggling, gyroscope stability through plate spinning, centripetal force with cowboy lariats and much more at this free Science of Circus workshop presented by Circus Kaput. 

Kids ages 5-8 can explore the creation of sound and take home their own homemade instruments.

Kids ages 5 and up, and families, can practice dance moves with a professional dancer at this free library class. Participants will also enjoy a ballet performance.

Little ones will discover the joy of dancing and develop motor skills as they groove to outrageous movement songs.

In this fun, new musical take on the well-known tale, Goldilocks learns some much-needed lessons about friendship and acceptance when she meets Freddy, a bear with a penchant for science.

Presented by the Imaginary Theatre Company. For ages 5-10. 

Free. The performance begins at 6:30 at the Headquarters Branch of the St. Louis County Library. Doors open at 6 p.m.
