Listen with your eyes and see with your ears in this interactive workshop that explores the shared elements of music and the visual arts.
The Saint Louis Art Museum and Saint Louis Symphony collaborate to offer interdisciplinary approaches to help teachers develop their students' aesthetic sensitivity, abstract thinking, and problem solving skills. Utilizing the Museum's modern and contemporary art collection, participants will engage in an improvisational dialogue with arts educators and musicians in which they explore the principles of rhythm, harmony, tone, balance, and color. This workshop is especially useful for teachers with an interest in the Saint Louis Symphony 'Picture the Music' program. Wednesday, November 16, 5-8 p.m.
