Celebrate the bugs of summer at the Butterfly House as they host the Firefliest and Friends Festival. This all-ages event features live music, fun activities and hands-on exploration. Guests will learn about dragonflies, cicadas, fireflies and more bugs of summer, and see roosting butterflies in the Butterfly House's Tropical Conservatory. You can also stroll among the fireflies with entomologists, or grab a bite and listen to music in the Native Butterfly Garden. There will also be games for children and samples of brews and spirits for adults.
Friday, June 21, from 4:30-9 p.m. at The Butterfly House in Faust Park. Admission is $12-$15; children 2 and under are free.

Visit the James S. McDonnell Planetarium in Forest Park and see a star show to experience the largest artificial sky in the Western Hemisphere. Star shows are lead LIVE by one of the Planetarium's educators, creating a new and tailored experience for every audience.

Storytelling in the Museum is an in-person storytelling event happening at 10:30 a.m. at the Missouri History Museum. This event, perfect for the preschool set, features engaging stories with themes like Grandparents Day, Hispanic Heritage Month, and mealtime. Storytelling in the Museum is free.
