Under the Big Top is an all-new summer exhibit at The Butterfly House where guests will be awed by arthopod acrobats and thrilled by sideshow spectacles! Bring your kids to spy on the fabulous flea circus and marvel at circut-inspired botanicals. Daily show schedules include story time, live animal encounters and butterfly releases.
Under the Big Top is open Tuesdays through Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Butterfly House in Faust Park, Chesterfield. Reserved, timed tickets are available online and are required. Capacity is limited. All guests age 9 and above must agree to wear protective face coverings (face shields alone do not qualify as adequat face coverings. Under the Big top runs through September 7.
Missouri Botanical Gardem member tickets are free. Non-member tickets are $5 for children and seniors, and $8 for ages 13 and up. Children age 2 and under are free.

Young visitors and their families are invited to the Life Science Lab Classroom at the Saint Louis Science Center to enjoy interactive read-alouds of science-themed picture books. Story times are followed by a short demonstration or discussion connected to the book's main concepts.

Visit the James S. McDonnell Planetarium in Forest Park and see a star show to experience the largest artificial sky in the Western Hemisphere. Star shows are lead LIVE by one of the Planetarium's educators, creating a new and tailored experience for every audience.
At this free art program for ages 3-6 the focus is on the process of making art rather than the finished product. Dress to get messy!
