School's out for the summer, which can only mean one thing – The Magic House is heading to the beach! At A Grand Boardwalk Beach Bash, visitors will enjoy a delicious dinner and create a cool treat at the build-your-own sundae ice cream bar. Experience must-see Boardwalk attractions including live music, face painting, a spectacular performance from Juggling Jeff, a fun photo booth, a unique sandcastle made from 75 tons of sand and an exciting scavenger hunt through The Magic House.
A Grand Boardwalk Beach Bash is set for Sunday, June 9 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. All ages are welcome. All proceeds support the Grandparent Scholarship Fun at The Magic House, which helps provide free field trips, outreach programs and family nights for children from school in disadvantaged areas of our community.

Storytelling in the Museum is an in-person storytelling event happening at 10:30 a.m. at the Missouri History Museum. This event, perfect for the preschool set, features engaging stories with themes like Grandparents Day, Hispanic Heritage Month, and mealtime. Storytelling in the Museum is free.
Tiny Trekkers is a weekly nature-based program for preschoolers (ages 3-5) at the Nature Institute. Preschoolers explore the nearly 500 acres of preserves through hands-on experiences out in nature. Kids stomp through creeks, use nets to catch and observe insects, taste edible plants, and learn about the natural world.

Read to a friendly therapy dog from DUO Dogs, Inc. After the story, the dog's handler will answer any questions kids have about therapy dogs, pet care and more. For ages 3-11. Registration is required for this free program.
