Join Opera Theatre of Saint Louis for a fun, engaging 70 minutes of movement and stage makeup workshops, both with audience participating, followed by an abbreviated performance of Gilbert and Sullivan's hilarious The Pirates of Penzance.
The sensory-friendly performance features current and former Opera Theatre Young Artists with piano accompaniment. It is recommended for students in grades 3 to 10 and is tailored for young people with sound sensitivities. A quiet room and pacing lanes will be available. Space is limited to 60 participants, so reservations and advance tickets are highly recommended. The performance is also part of Opera America's National Opera Week, a concentrated critical mass of opera events throughout North American from Oct. 28 - Nov. 6. Tickets are $10 per person.
