Open House at Rohan Woods School

Tuesday, November 5, 2019
This event has already passed.

Rohan Woods School is small – by mission – just one class per age or grade level. Rohan Woods starts at age 2 – and goes through Middle School (6th grade). With a 9:1 student/teacher ratio, faculty is able to focus on personalized instruction and project learning to ensure students positively embrace our challenging curriculum for future success, develop a love of learning and practice the skills to problem solve.

Each adult connected with the school community serves as a passionate conduit for teaching and discovering the qualities of a leader in each student. Our Early Childhood program (age 2) is available part-time or full-time – starting with a minimum of 3 half days. These students also enjoy time with our Music Specialist, Spanish and have PE every day with Coach in the full-sized gym. By Junior Kindergarten, age 4, we add the Science Lab and Art Specialist into their schedules. Call and schedule a tour to see the school and discover a new approach to elementary education – the Project Approach.

Visit Rohan Woods at the November Open House:

Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019,  9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Open House visitors will experience first-hand activities and interaction between students and teachers as they walk through classrooms and the Specialty Wing that houses the Art Room, Music Room, Full-Size Gynasium, and Science Lab. If the weather cooperates, you'll be able to step outside to see the science garden, flower and veggie area, and prairie program.
