
Celebrate the arrival of fall by dancing all night and enjoying a festival all day at the O'Fallon, Mo., Fall Fest and Street Dance.
The Street Dance and Food Truck Frenzy takes place on Friday Oct. 7 from 6 to 10 p.m. and features music by popular local bands, food trucks and craft/merchandise booths. You can also see the winners of the scarecrow making contest.
Saturday's Fall Fest features the Fall Fest Run, live music, kids' activities including pumpking decorating, pumpkin-themed games, a barnyard petting zoo, Be A Farmer For A Day and more. There will also be free tours of the O'Fallon Historical Society Log Cabin, the National Open Fiddle Championships, live bluegrass music and more.
Stop by vendor booths selling original art, crafts, garden specialties, jewelry, clothing, festival foods and beverages.
Saturday's festival hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Civic Park.

Visit the James S. McDonnell Planetarium in Forest Park and see a star show to experience the largest artificial sky in the Western Hemisphere. Star shows are lead LIVE by one of the Planetarium's educators, creating a new and tailored experience for every audience.
Young visitors and their families are invited to the Life Science Lab Classroom at the Saint Louis Science Center to enjoy interactive read-alouds of science-themed picture books. Story times are followed by a short demonstration or discussion connected to the book's main concepts.
Sensory Friendly Science Time features reduced noise, modified lighting and sensory-friendly demonstrations at the Saint Louis Science Center.
At this free art program for ages 3-6 the focus is on the process of making art rather than the finished product. Dress to get messy!
