
Teens have the opportunity to discuss reading and writing with the author of 20 nationally best-selling mystery novels at this free event at the St. Louis County Library Headquarters.
Author Sara Paretsky will discuss her career and offer insider tips to aspiring teen writers. The discussion is free and open to all. Teens are welcome to stay and have reserved seats for Paretsky's 7 p.m. discussion of her new novel "Brush Back."
The discussion with teens is from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sponsored by the St. Louis County Library Foundation and Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri.

Sensory Friendly Science Time features reduced noise, modified lighting and sensory-friendly demonstrations at the Saint Louis Science Center.
At this free art program for ages 3-6 the focus is on the process of making art rather than the finished product. Dress to get messy!
