Kids of all ages will learn about wetlands and the critters that call them home at this free event sponsored by the Missouri Department of Conservation.
Kids will see live birds of prey, learn to filet carp, explore a beaver lodge, practice their air rifle and archery skills, view live snakes and turtles and try their hand at fishing.
This event is free. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the August A. Busch Memorial Conservation Area in St. Charles.

Young visitors and their families are invited to the Life Science Lab Classroom at the Saint Louis Science Center to enjoy interactive read-alouds of science-themed picture books. Story times are followed by a short demonstration or discussion connected to the book's main concepts.
