Representing positivity and happiness, Rangoli is a colorful and creative Indian folk-art. Patterns are created on the floor using materials such as chalk, rice flour, flowers, lentils, sand and more. Rangoli formations can range from simple freestyle drawing to complex dot grid drawings. Come join the fun and create patterns outdoors (chalk) and indoors (paper) that are believed to bring good luck!
Rangoli will be held on Saturday, June 12, and Sunday, June 13, during regular museum hours, and is free with admission.
