Circus Kaput

Join Ready Readers at the 2020 Winter Story Fest, where there will be a winter carnival with hands-on activities for kids and a live performance of The Tortoise and The Hare by Circus Kaput! This festival includes lots of activities celebrating literacy recommended for kids under age 10. 

Kids can observe gravity's constant acceleration through bowling ball juggling, gyroscope stability through plate spinning, centripetal force with cowboy lariats and much more at this free Science of Circus workshop presented by Circus Kaput. 

Kids can bring out their inner sculptors and learn how to twist the basic balloon dog, a simple balloon hat, a huge octopus and more at this free workshop led by the pros at Circus Kaput. 

Kids and tweens can explore invisibility, super-strength, levitation and mind reading, and find out what they do or do not have to do with real science.

Kids can explore the fire trucks, meet the firefighters, get free bike helmets (while they last), build a toy fire truck, be entertained by the performers from Circus Kaput, and win prizes, including Cardinals tickets and free bikes.
