Play Day in the Park is a fun, free community event sponsored by a few of our local favorite family attractions! Kids of all ages can enjoy bubble play, outdoor games, STEM lab explorations, parachute games, chalk art, building challenges with KEVA planks, learning adventures and more.

Gather at the outdoor amphitheater in Tower Grove Park for a summer of fun children's performances by beloved local entertainers. The free interactive shows are part of the Children's Performance Series, introducing children to the performing arts in a fun interactive way. Storytellers, musicians, dancers and more will encourage kids to clap along and be part of the experience.

The city of O’Fallon, Mo., throws a fantastic, family-friendly celebration at the Ozzie Smith Sports Complex over the 4th of July holiday and weekend.

The Wabash, Frisco & Pacific Railroad invites you and your kiddos to come ride the train! The Wabash, Frisco & Pacific is a historic, 12-inch gauge live steam train in Glencoe, Missouri, that is open most Sundays for public train rides. Reservations are required.

Returning to the Saint Louis Zoo is the bird show “Winging It,” presented in partnership with World Bird Sanctuary. Birds will take the stage at the Lichtenstein Sea Lion Arena. In this amazing, free-flying presentation, a variety of exotic and native birds will demonstrate their natural abilities, and some will even soar over the audience.
