See thousands of eggs fall from a helicopter at this free egg hunt at Rascal's Stadium in north O'Fallon, Mo. Children will be devided into groups according to age for the egg hunt. Registration is required. 

Seedfolks, a "spoken musical," chronicles a diverse, immigrant community working together through struggles and triumphs. After a young Vietnamese girl plants beans in a vacant lot to connect with the memory of her father, she unintentionally creates a community garden that begins to bridge divides across her neighborhood. 

Kids can explore construction trucks, a fire truck, ambulance, police car, bucket truck, combine, tractors, and lots more at the O'Fallon, Ill., Community Park Touch a Truck.

The annual City of Sunset Hills Easter Egg Hunt will be held Sunday, April 21 and is open to kids up to age 10. Children will be divided into three age groups: 1-3; 4-6; and 7-10. Some eggs contain prizes so be sure to check inside!

SciFest: Animal Kingdom Expo is an all-day event all about animals! Visitors will learn about animal science and care both at home and in the wild. At this free Born to Read program for kids ages birth to 8 years and their parents or caregivers, each family will receive a free copy of the book, while supplies last. 

Celebrate Spring with fun on the farm at Purina Farms! The Visitor Center at Purina Farms opens on March 23 with a celebration for all ages. Enjoy cupcakes (while supplies last), and scavenger hunts, meet adoptable dogs and puppies, and meet Purina Farms' new mascot, Checkerboard Charlie!
